2019 OCA Conference Announcement!
It’s not too early to mark your calendar for the Ohio Communication Association’s 83rd annual conference on October 4th and 5th, 2019. In fact, submissions for the conference will open in just a few weeks!
The theme for the 2019 conference is Enhancing Our Communities Through Communication. This theme was selected to represent the evolution of OCA as an organization.
Submissions will be accepted via the OCA website beginning March 1, 2019. Communication professionals, faculty, administrators, undergraduate students, and graduate students are all invited to attend and are encouraged to submit proposals. The OCA conference will be accepting proposals for poster and paper presentations, panel discussions, G.I.F.T.S. sessions, and short courses. We anticipate featuring innovative, original research and teaching ideas to exemplify the best Ohio and our neighboring states offer.
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, May 15. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the 2019 Conference Coordinator, Elycia Taylor, at etaylo10@cscc.edu.
