Seeking Nominations for Executive Board Positions
The Ohio Communication Association (OCA) is accepting nominations for the following offices:
- The Vice-President/President-Elect:
- Coordinates the general election.
- Coordinates the Awards Ceremony during the annual conference.
- Plans special state and regional activities.
- Performs other duties assigned by the President.
- Southwest and Northwest District Representatives (2-year terms):
- Regional representatives may run for re-election and do not have to be located in the particular region they wish to represent.
- Two Graduate Student Representatives (1-year term):
- Must be a graduate student for the 2016-2017 school year.

The deadline for nominations is October 3, 2016. Voting will open at this year’s OCA conference (Oct. 14-15th) and remain open for one week after the conference. Please note that only registered members have access to online voting.

Nominations may be sent to Liane Gray-Starner, at graystarcommunication@gmail.com. After being nominated each nominee will be asked to write a short statement of candidacy (500 words or less) that will posted on the OCA website and be distributed to the membership at the 2016 conference.
